When I'm in distress or nervous, my accent thickens the consistency of blackstrap molasses in a January freeze. It also thickened while I was working as a waitress (unconciously), when talking to my kin (great-aunts, etc), and when talking about genealogy. The funny thing is, I grew up being asked where I was from (ie in my own hometown), so I don't normally have much of an accent. Accents are like that. Whether it's the fact that he's a rabbit, he's Scottish or a Doctor Who geek, I find him the best character to me. I hope he'll be around for years to come. (And in case you're wondering, I love rabbits, my favourite animal, I am Scottish- Wick, way up in Caithness in the highlands, and a real geek for the new Doctor Who and working my way towards watching the classic series.)
