064 - Trial of a Timelord
Thursday, June 28th, 2007Dallas can turn a phrase so well.
Panel three is a great example of the "Gabe And Tycho school" of gag writing: I'd written a gag, and it was okay. Then we chatted and started bouncing punchlines off each other. The one that made us laugh hardest won. I think (a dangerous pastime) that if the cartoonist is laughing at the joke, the comic has passed the litmus test.
Somehow I doubt the robot checking finished Garfield strips for spelling errors laughs very much.
