Time for a Friends moment.

Not much happened to me this weekend; Rich had the more exciting time, being the best man at our friend Alex's wedding in Las Vegas.  Congratulations, Alex.  For my part, I mowed the lawn, backed up my hard drive, got some new widgets on my desktop.  You know, spring cleaning.  The three-day forecast widget has been going nuts, as Wednesday's forecast went from "Sunny" to "Light Showers Possible" to "OMFG Rain!"  Such is life in Oregon, I guess.

The Warriors won, which might make Rich unhappy to hear, but I've been rooting for them.  I always root for the underdog, and Golden State has had Dallas's number all year.  They're up 3-1 now, and if they win, it'll be a major upset.  After the last time this happened (the Knicks in 1999, though Denver beating Seattle in 1994 will always be my favorite), they changed the length of the first round series from 5 games to 7 to prevent flukes like that from happening again.  So if the Warriors win, they will truly be the better team.

We will be putting up our new voting image (Leona after playing a little too much Nintendo DS) on Tuesday, May 1st.  I'm being slightly crafty; since the numbers reset every month, it would do us much more good to get votes at the beginning of a month rather than at the end.  I hope you don't mind my crass sense of pragmatism.  The sketch is well worth the extra trip to the site on Tuesday.

When Matt first saw this comic, he asked "Is Li in her panties in panel 3?" and I replied, "No… She's wearing shorts… Perv." But, back then, I was looking at the original drawing for panel 3… which has no word balloons. Now that I look at the comic, I see that the placement of Becky's word balloon, which didn't fit anywhere else, does confuse things enough that you might just think you see panty lines. Well, let me assure you that she IS wearing shorts, and that if she was wearing panties her thighs would be black. ;p
