I've been doing my best not to give away any plot secrets, but in the character designs for both characters, the term 'lesbian' wasn't explicitly stated.  That is to say, if such a relationship were to occur, it would require taking advantage of an ommission, effectively making their relationship fanservice more than specifically character-driven actions.

Or something like that, I dunno. :)</description>
