Ah, the art of the recycled-panel comic. When I had first posed the (hardly original) notion to Richard, Walky of It’s Walky! fame had spent a month trying to eat a burrito, staring frozen with indecision over which side to start on. The gag may work better when there’s less at stake, but at the time of writing, this was the first of my favorite couplet of strips. Things have, of course, changed a little, but I’m still fond of this particular gag.

Now that we (almost) have our recycled panel gags our of our system, the plot will begin in earnest next week. I I dare say that the “Drama Tag” has been pulled, albeit off-panel. Even strips that seem gag-a-day hold more continuity than before. Be forewarned, even… foreshadowed.
