011 - Wee Stories
Monday, December 4th, 2006The Wired article “Very Short Stories” insipred this particular couplet of strips; I got a big kick out of the concept; a form of verbal expression even shorter than haiku, it seems to encapsulate the very essence of imaginative power and what it brings to the table in a story. They’re a blast to write, and sometimes they can be quite evocative.
I hope to revisit Becky’s typewriter and her writing soon; Like Snoopy’s attempts to write the Great American Novel, it can be a great way to express something outside of dialogue.

Matt and I have just started to use GoogleDocs as a collaboration tool on the comic script. It’s really neat because it allows us to edit a document at the same time and hash out the scripts without the usual emailing it back and forth. It’s like open canvas for writers.
