We had meetings.  Long, difficult meetings.  We talked, and hashed, and re-hashed, and suggested, but in the end, we both agreed.  Entre Nous is ending for the forseeable future.

Our real regret here is that we thought we had a workable schedule and story, something that would please us and the readers.  But the closer we got to that, the more we tried it on and walked around in it, the more it was apparent that it wouldn't work.

We're busier now, by a factor of five, than we were when we started the comic.  Both of us have been promoted to management positions.  We're working longer hours, and found that we lacked the energy in our downtime to devote to a comic.  It was always a hobby for us, but even hobbies become too time-intensive to really enjoy.  And the notion of going twice a month felt like a real cop-out.

We'll eventually make a run at another project.  Maybe not in 2008, but eventually.  The book is almost done, and those who e-mailed us to be notified when it is published will still get that e-mail.

We thank you for your support, and apologize for our out-in-and-out-again finish.  It wasn't fair to you, and for that we're sorry.
